I’ve decided to do the absolute bare minimum, so Totino’s pizza washed down with a quart of Budweiser I bought at the gas station it is!
No, I haven’t decided to end it all. Sometimes you just crave a trashy dinner.

Wait they make actual pizza?

Spicy teriyaki chicken and coke. Not a bad way to bridge the gap between work and home

I did a double take on that too. I had some of the pizza rolls as part of a odd dinner tonight myself..

Yes, but the words “actual” and “pizza” should appear in quotes when describing it.

Fun fact, they used to be Jeno’s Pizza Rolls, and Totino’s Party Pizza is older than time. Jeno’s also made pizza, but there were corporate mergers and such and Jeno’s has disappeared as far as I can tell.

Anything less (or more?) Would kind of spoil my expectations of it basically being the rolls unrolled with maybe a slightly thicker crust..

That is probably better than my choice, yet I'm still happy with mine. Except that I wish I had picked up another quart or three of Bud.

Is it better or worse than El lio’ s?

Let’s see... frozen burrito and frozen enchilada with arroz y frijoles. So, super authentic, chef driven High end cuisine basically.

Ain’t nothing wrong with the occasional frozen meal. I’ve never had a Totinos pizza, I don’t think I’ve ever seen them in Ottawa.
Enjoy!

Oh, if you love the pizza rolls, don’t try this. It’s nowhere near as good. But I had this pizza a lot as a kid because my sister liked it.
I still think Tombstone is the best frozen pizza. Digiorno is like pizza cake. No thanks.

Think of the worst frozen pizza you’ve ever had. This is probably below it, and yet it’s still somehow charming.

tuna on wheat, out of cooking motivation ... (I did add chopped onion and pepp eroncini though....)

I had some rice and vegetables with vinaigrette. Have a couple of corn on the cob to eat and maybe some ramen later? I have barely anything in the house to constitute a meal right now so it’s just consistent snacking

I’ve never heard of that, so I can’t say. This pizza is weird. It’s got the strangest crust ever, and yet it’s not awful. The sauce is a crime against humanity, but somehow it’s acceptable in this format.

Oh, you had to say ramen. I think I might have to follow up the pizza with some ramen.

That's kinda what Ellio's is like.

It’s an interesting story seeing what should be a Japanese dish made popular by Koreans in Seattle. You can’t go wrong with chicken and rice!

Hell yeah!
I was just thinking about El Charrito frozen dinners the other day. I might have to pick up a cheese enchilada meal. They cost like 38 cents. They’re so awful and so awesome at the same time.

I had some of the chili flavor for lunch and threw in a scoop of peanut butter for a poor mans peanut chili sauce

Pepperoncini and tuna, not sure how I feel about that.

Totino’s pizza is usually like a dollar. It’s hard to complain about something so cheap.

Grilled Mahi-mahi with carrots, green beans and sour dough toast on the side, w/ a glass of Pinot grigio . Scratch made strawberry cupcakes to finish it all off.

Salad with cabbage (it was supposed to be Napa but I used what I could find), radicchio, scallion, olives, diced celery, and a quick dressing of mayo, dijon mustard, lemon juice, maple syrup, and celery seeds served with salmon. It was good.
Last night I fucked around and did the reverse sear thing with a ribeye in the smoker to bring it almost up to temp and then laid it on a ripping hot grill for 2 minutes each side. It was fucking divine. behold my crappy pictures:

Two parter tonight. “Cauliflower rice” fried with spring onion, Mrs Dash, salt and garlic in sesame oil . Grated a bit of Parmesan as I bowled it. In a couple hours, there’s a nice 7oz Chuck Eye steak and fried, boiled taters awaiting. Ma kittehs are eager for the steak. That , they want a part of...

Indulged in these frequently when I was a student. They came in a cardboard box then, usually 89 cents to a dollar. Something so wrong about the sweet sauce that just works with the crust and cheese.

Homemade chicken alfredo with air fried green beans (first time making it) Turned out great and healthy-ish :)

One of these days I’m going to end up getting an air fryer. I really want one.

It’s the best kitchen appliance . fry french fries in 18 minutes or less, add bread crumbs and chicken and make crispy chicken tenders, etc.

I remember when they used to be circles, too. Now it’s a rectangle.

Ha, you think that’s bad. For the past two days my breakfast and dinner has been a jar of peanut butter . Grocery shopping isn’t exactly ideal amidst this raging pandemic here in the sunshine state.
Maybe I’ll splurge today and order a pizza, but if I can survive 5 more days I’ll be driving up to MD where 1.) I’ll be fed by my dad for a bit and 2.) I’ll be more than happy to shop for groceries in an area where there are only 800 new cases a day instead of 10,000.

Ha, I just noticed it isn’t round. I remember that, too, had no idea they are now apparently rectangular . Probably cheaper to make this way.
